Our History

Founded on 6th May, 1977, मित्रप्रेम मंडळ (Mitraprem Mandal) is one of the most famous Ganesha Utsav pandals of Kolhapur. Known for its social, cultural, and historic events and activities, the pandal has become a beacon of community engagement and cultural preservation.

६ मे, १९७७ रोजी स्थापन झालेले, मित्रप्रेम मंडळ हे कोल्हापूरच्या प्रसिद्ध गणेश उत्सव पंडालांपैकी एक आहे. सामाजिक, सांस्कृतिक आणि ऐतिहासिक कार्यक्रम आणि उपक्रमांसाठी प्रसिद्ध.

Cultural Significance

For over four decades, Mitraprem Mandal has been at the forefront of preserving and promoting Maratha culture and heritage. Through elaborate pandal decorations depicting historical events and social dramas, the mandal educates and inspires the community.

From its establishment, the pandal has always enlightened the people through social dramas by correlating present situations with historic events. The main motive is to spread the culture, traditions, and thoughts of great personalities like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and brave colleagues in their troops, Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj, and many more.

स्थापनेपासून, पंडालने नेहमीच सध्याच्या परिस्थितीला ऐतिहासिक घटनांशी जोडून सामाजिक नाटकांद्वारे लोकांना प्रबोधित केले आहे. छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज आणि त्यांच्या सैन्यातील शूर सहकारी, छत्रपती शाहू महाराज यांच्यासारख्या महान व्यक्तिमत्त्वांची संस्कृती, परंपरा आणि विचार पसरवणे हे मुख्य उद्दिष्ट आहे.
